Prashant Lingam is a social entrepreneur and the co-founder of Bamboo House India, organization based in Hyderabad dedicated to sustainable construction and eco-friendly innovations. Since 2006, Prashant has focused on concepts of using bamboo, plastic waste, textile waste and agricultural waste for creating affordable and sustainable shelter solutions & products. Alongside his wife and co-founder, Aruna, Bamboo House India has championed green livelihoods, empowering marginalized communities, waste-pickers, refugees, sex-workers, SHG women, rural and tribal artisans to generate sustainable incomes through green & circular economy models..
